Every piece of music is composed of one or more voices.  In this piece, we were curious to understand the dialogue between the three different voices in the Liszt's "La Campanella" and what it would look like if we translated them into movement.   

 

Each voice has its own character, and each character interacts with the others in their own unique timing, quality, phrasing, and vocabulary.  

 

As we got to know the different characters better and better, a story appeared which translated into the dance we performed.
